A Walk by the River: Southbank Centre is a 4 colour limited edition screen-print hand printed by Kethi Copeland in her London studio. It features The Royal Festival Hall, Hayward Gallery and White House Apartments in the background as viewed from the river.
Limited edition of only 200 prints, All Prints are signed and numbered on the front.
Un-framed Prints are 24 cm x 30 cm, printed on cream acid free paper 250gsm. Prints are supplied with backing board and artist statement sealed in a clear plastic sleeve.
Framed Prints are mounted with an acid free mount in a white wooden frame, ready to hang. Frame size: 44 cm x 34 cm
The prints in 'A Walk by the River' series link up to create a set of drawings that flow together along a continuous line but can equally be enjoyed individually.
'A Walk by the River' is an ongoing project of walking and drawing in London the city where she was born. Drawn from the opposite bank of the Thames, this print series sees the twists and turns of the river as one continuous line upon which the iconic and lesser known of London’s riverside architecture sit side by side. They reveal the city as seen through the eyes of a Londoner. This was the first print created for the series, which now extends to both the north and south bank and includes 1 meter wide 'Riverscape' Prints.
